Designed for the small gymnast with tiny hard-to-fit hands, these grips with buckle closures feature a narrow palm of lighter-weight leather for easier break-in. The palm of the grip is attached to the outside of the padded wrist cuff to eliminate wrist chafing. Available in white with red trim. Sold in pairs.

Hi, I was wondering which buckle grip from hot shot is better. I am a level 7 and this will be my fourth pair of grips. I am trying new grips because last time mine were on sale now they are about tens dollars more. So which buckle grips are better if I want one buckle?

It's not really a question of better or worse, but one of personal preference and ability level. As a gymnast develops higher skill levels, the stress on the grip increases. Hot Shots are in general designed for younger gymnasts with smaller hands, typically those at lower levels. The normal progression is to go to a double buckle design as you get better because it provides a little stronger/firmer grip around your wrist for more advanced skills.
As your body becomes even stronger and your hands get bigger, most gymnasts will out grow Hot Shots and move on the a ladies regular or Millennium grip with a wider design and a stiffer construction. You and your coach are the only ones who will know when this time has come!
