Tiger Paw Wrist Supports Sizing Information

Tiger Paws are sold in Pairs!  Please refer to the table below when determining your correct size for Tiger Paws.

Note: If you are going to use your Paws in gymnastics competition, you need to order the sand color. All other colors will get point deductions!

While sizing is not an absolute thing, this will be the best guide available. If you happen to fall between two sizes, we generally recommend that you choose the larger size.

 Size  Body Weight
XS Up to 69 pounds
 S 69 to 115 pounds
 M 115 to 150 pounds
L 150 to 210 pounds

The most popular gymnastic wrist support is now even better. Tiger Paws now come in colors. As always, they have replaceable foam pad supports. XS Paws are shipped with two plastic inserts and two foam inserts, all other sizes are shipped with 4 plastic inserts and two foam inserts. We recommend you order extra inserts now and save on shipping later.

Tiger Paws are also available in a water resistant version. It's made from a synthetic non-skid, abrasion resistant material.  It's a favorite with platform divers and anyone who needs wrist support in a wet environment. Choose the "Waterproof" option from the color pull down menu for this product. Currently available in black only.

As you can see below, we get tons of great reviews and comments from happy customers. However, one in particular which we recieved through the mail from a happy young girl said it well. To have some one take the time to write an actual letter was very special for us, so I thought I'd feature it here for you to enjoy.

"Dear US Glove:

My name is Annie Trentman and I am a seventh grade gymnast in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gymnastics is
my sport. I have enjoyed it ever since I was six years old and don’t plan to stop it anytime soon. I have
just qualified to level seven and hope to keep going well into my older years. I do gymnastics four hours
a day, five days a week and each day my wrists feel worse and worse and it has begun to affect my

I have decided to write this letter to you to thank you for my Tiger Paws. Ever since I got my Tiger Paws,
my wrists have become less sore over the days. I have made continual progress in my tumbling because
of your product. Tiger Paws make my wrists feel like all of the weight that used to be on them has been
taken off and put somewhere else, I do not know where. Because of your Tiger Paws, my wrists are now
strong enough to do more complex tumbling passes without the usual pain.

Thank you again for selling me this product; they really have been a big help in my gymnastics ability.
Even though some people think it is impossible for a product that any company has sold to actually
improve somebody’s ability in anything; they’re wrong. Your Tiger Paws took away my pain, which
helped me to be more comfortable with my tumbling."

Annie Trentman

"Thanks Annie, we're glad our Paws helped you!"

A Note About Colored Paws!

First, the bright colored Paws:

We've had some feedback from customers about the color bleeding onto their hands. It's very infrequent, but it does happen. We suspect it is related to levels of perspiration and body chemistry as it happens so seldom. If you want the colored Paws anyway and encounter problems, we suggest you spray the Paws with Scotch Guard or hairspray. This seems an effective solution to fix the problem.

Fancy Paws: The animal print Paws are colored using a screen print process. Due to variations in the leather and the printing process, the print can be notably different from the pictures on the site. Neither of these issues represent a defect in the performance of the Paw.  If this is a concern of yours, please buy the sand colored Paws, our biggest seller by far, or the waterproof model. We do not warranty Paws for color bleeding or inconsistent animal print patterns.

So I just ordered my tiger paws. I got them in white. I've heard that colored paws bleed, do you think I'd need to wash the white paws?

No you should be fine. We never get reports of sand or white bleeding.

  2. Awesome!

Posted by Olivia on 13th Sep 2014

I ordered my tiger paws on Thursday and I'm so excited! I've been having wrist pains for a while now while tumbling, but once I tried on a friends pair of paws, my wrists didn't hurt at all. I also asked my coach she said the colored paws didn't give deductions, it depends who's hosting the meet. I love the product!

Love them! Only flaw is that the bleed on to my hands

  7. color bleeds all over hands

Posted by Unknown on 19th Aug 2014

The functionality of the tiger paws so far has been great. However, we purchased the teal ones and my daughters hands are teal. And it will not come off!!

Remove the inserts and run the Paws through the washer. Pat them dry with a towel and let them finish air drying. Do not machine dry. Afterwards you can coat them with some scotchguard for added bleed protection.

  8. Amazing

Posted by Natalia on 14th Aug 2014

I ordered my Tiger Paws over a year ago for gymnastics competitions and I've been using them ever since. They still work nicely, but I ordered new ones so I can take for cheerleading practices and leave my other ones at the gym.
I have been using the teal leopard print ones at all of my gymnastics competitions and have not received any deductions whatsoever for the color of them. I also emailed the head of USAG for Pennsylvania and she told me that there were no problems with the color of them.
For my second pair, I ordered the metallic silver because they do bleed a lot when I sweat at gymnastics.
They make skills a lot better and I have little to no wrist pain when using them!

    Hi Natalia,

Thanks for the info on color and point deductions issues. It's very interesting since so many people believe otherwise!

And of course, we're very happy our Paws help with the wrist pain!

  9. great!

Posted by Unknown on 30th Jul 2014

They came in the mail in only about 4 days and they work great! They really help when I practice and my wrists are no longer in pain! I love them and I'm so happy I purchased them!

  10. Great Product

Posted by Unknown on 26th Jul 2014

My daughter is an All Star Cheerleader and she loves them. They have really helped with her wrist pain. According to her coach (and the gym owner) they are fine for competition. She said that any brace/splint is ok as long as all sharp edges are covered. That being said, I would still check with whatever competition company is hosting to make sure that they are ok to use.

I only have 2 minor complaints: we got the purple ones and the color does bleed quite a bit, and it was quite difficult to get the foam pad out to replace it with one of the plastic inserts. We had to use pliers to pull it out!
