The new waterproof Tiger Paw is here! Our new design is a black non-skid material. Also, these new Paws are great for outside cheer and tumbling, especially around tracks! The abrasion resistance of the new material will wear longer than our standard leather Paws.
Please refer to the table below when determining your correct size for Tiger Paws. While sizing is not an absolute thing, this will be the best guide available. If you happen to fall between two sizes, we generally recommend that you choose the larger size. SOLD IN PAIRS! For a single waterproof Paw, go to the page for single Tiger Paws, under the Tiger Paws navagation link, and choose waterproof as your color!
| Size | Body Weight |
| XS | Up to 69 pounds |
| S | 69 to 115 pounds |
| M | 115 to 150 pounds |
| L | 150 to 210 pounds |

My daughter is a tower diver and she has only used Tiger Paw wrist guards. We recently purchased the new waterproof ones and she loves the new material. She says they fit great and give her even better support then the older version. She has shared it with her friends who are also excited about the new material.

Thanks for the feedback Diane! :-)

My 11 year old daughter needs wrist supports for platform diving and I saw that there are rubberized Tiger Paw wrist supports available at a diving supply website, but not here on the Tiger Paw site. Can you tell me the difference, Pros vs Cons, of the New Waterproof wrist guards and the Rubberized wrist guards?
Thanx!

Sounds a little confusing. Any Tiger Paw made is available on this site. If there is something being sold as a Tiger Paw, i.e. - rubberized, that you don't see on this site then it is a fake!
Having said that, we make the only waterproof Tiger Paw in the world. We recently improved our product by switching to a non-skid, waterproof material. The old ones were a beige nylon material and are not manufactured any longer. Currently it is available in black only. To see a picture of the waterproof Paw, just choose the "waterproof" option from the color pull down when on the Tiger Paw product page.
It is a sort of rubber like material, perhaps that is the confusion?
By the way, we are receiving great feedback from divers who are using our new waterproof Paw!

What I can tell you is that our waterproof design has been used by platform divers for several years now and we recently improved it! The waterproof Paw that we sell now was introduced about a month ago and is made from a much more durable material than past models. We think you will love it, if you decide to give t a try let us know how it works. We do listen to feedback!

My daughterwants waterproof for cheerleading this year. the orignial tiger paws work great ,but all the reviews on the water proof aren't so good. I'm not sure if I should get them. Are they made for tumbling and will support her wrist or not?
Thanks!

Our new waterproof Tiger Paws are much different than the old ones. They are made from a heavier material that will hold up just fine for tumbling! Give them a try, we think you will like them!

with the new waterproof paws are we allowed to tumble because i am going out for outdoor cheerleading and was wondering if they could and when are you selling in the black because that is strictly my schools policy on the color.

The new waterproof Paws are in production now and should be available for shipment by the end of the week. I am going to turn them on in the cart today. We will have pictures in a few days. They will be in black only for a few months.
As far as tumbling outside on a track, they will be much better that our regular Paws because of the abrasion resistance. The material we are using is bullet proof!

First, know that US Glove stands behind all of their products! If your Paws are defective we will replace them.
However, waterproof Paws are not designed for tumbling! They are made from a much lighter weight material than our regular Paws. That being said, 1 month is a very short time for them to last. Perhaps your paws had a manufacturing defect, or maybe they were not properly cared for. If stored wet the life expectancy will be severely shortened.
If you would like to contact us we can talk about your Paws and see if we can help you out. Just let us know, you did not leave a name!
The waterproof Paw has been sold for many years now and we have never had a complaint about their durability! :-)

I bought the water proof tiger paws shortly after my gymnastics coach suggested them (so I could use them for diving and gymnastics), they were working great for the first month then they started falling apart tearing, though my coaches which are the original are in perfect condition after the 2 years she has been tumbling on them. I am very disappointed with this product, and I really hope this is simply in my case.
